Return Policy

If for some reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly issue a refund or exchange within 14 days of delivery. The item must be returned in new, unused condition with tags attached and in its original packaging.

All returns must be pre-approved by A Vintage Childhood. Before shipping back your return, send us an email at orders@avintagechildhood.com and include your order #. We will issue a shipping return label, and a return authorization number to be included in your return package.  We kindly ask that you mail your return back within 5 days of receiving your label.  Please allow up to 2 business days for a response to all emails.

For all items, shipping costs are non-refundable and return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer. If you received free shipping on your original order that cost will be deducted from your final refund amount.

All items must be postmarked for return within 5 days. Please allow up to 5 business days to process your return after we receive it.

All items purchased at a discounted price of 15% or greater (either with a discount code or pre-marked down prices) are considered final sale items and cannot be canceled, returned or exchanged. Final sale items cannot be canceled even if they have not yet shipped.

Final sale items include:  All swimwear, underwear, shoes, socks/tights, dinnerware and teething items are final sale items. All wooden toys and stuffed animals as well as preorder/ presale items are final sale as well. 

Any damages or incorrect items received must be reported within the 14 day return period or we are unfortunately unable to offer any solutions.

Canceled orders or returns of 3 or more items will incur a 15% restocking fee as we incur these transaction fees regardless as soon as an order is confirmed.

We do not price match sales pricing at the brand or other shops.
