Shipping

Orders are processed and shipped within three to five business days of the order being placed, excluding weekends.  Please allow for slightly longer processing times during sales periods or peak holiday times. If you need your package shipped out immediately please email us at orders@avintagechildhood.com so we can accommodate a rush order. Purchasing an upgraded shipping option is for faster transit times only and does include processing times so please do email if your order is time sensitive!  Transit times are provided by the carrier and vary with package destination. Please note: transit days are an estimate only, and may vary depending on the carrier's volume during peak seasons.                                    
         
Domestic Shipping within the US:
Orders under $200 incur a flat rate shipping charge of $6.99.
Orders $200+ incur a flat rate shipping charge of $9.99, with the exception of a few heavy to ship items that incur an additional shipping surcharge.                  

Bulky items shipping to HI or AK may incur additional shipping fees beyond what it shown at checkout. If this is the case we will contact you with shipping options and prices and will invoice you for the additional shipping costs or you may choose to cancel your order. Thank you for understanding.                         
 
We ship via USPS or UPS, and our shipping options include the following (does not include processing times):
  • First Class Package 5-7 days due to current USPS slow down of mail
  • Priority Mail 3-5 days due to current USPS slow down of mail
  • UPS ground 2-3 business days
  • International orders 14-21 business days - please allow for additional transit times right now for all international orders as a result of delays due to Covid-19. Please note, while not always the case, many international orders are currently taking 6-10 weeks to arrive to the destination. By placing your order you are acknowledging and agreeing to the potential transit delays. We will not be refunding orders in transit. 

    Insurance is not included on first class packages.  If you wish to have postal insurance up to $100, please upgrade shipping to priority mail.

    Please note we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages.  If you have not received your package, we suggest calling USPS with your tracking information.  Once USPS confirms delivery on the order, we are not responsible for the order.

     

    For all international orders, customs/ duties/ tax are the responsibility of the buyer.  Shipping method for international orders will be the most cost effective choice unless an upgraded shipping option is purchased by the customer.  Returns/ refunds will not be processed for refusal of delivery due to customs/ import fees.
